How do we get to know each other beyond the roles we play in this world?  In our Meta-Group, we'll bypass the superficiality (small talk nature) of most conversations and share our views and personal revelations about universal topics and our human experiences.

1st session:  Meet & Greet; overview; discuss how to take the FREE online assessment that provides a personality profile with the Myers-Briggs indicator (used in follow-on sessions).

2nd-7th sessions:  explore the assessment results, how our personality type shapes our perspectives about self, others and life.  Through this sharing, we begin to expand awareness and find personal benefit from varying viewpoints. Each week is a new topic/focal point. The experience anticipated is Connection, Compassion, Community and Challenge to grow beyond who we think we are in this life. Spiritual principles will also be introduced each week to provide a foundation for heightened awareness about how life works, weaving our new insights about self and others into a sense of peace, joy and well-beingness.

8th-10th sessions: Opportunities to share, serve and celebrate with the tools and insight gained.

The opportunity is tremendous, the reward is priceless...and the cost:  just the time and interest it takes "Getting to Know You."

Are you artistic, but can't think of things to draw; like to add the color and texture; ...find the new adult coloring books soothing?

1st session: During the "Meet & Greet", an overview of Meta-Groups set-up/structure, their purpose, and an explanation of the vision for our topic of exploration will be shared.  Time permitting, a mini, hands-on version of combining meditation and mandala work will be conducted.

Sessions 2-7: Explore the potential for inward-turning with artwork and being still in mind.  Each week, a new meditation practice/mandala type/technique will be explored and spiritual principles will be introduced to use as a foundation for heightened awareness about how life works and then woven into new insights about self.  Together, we'll begin to experience Connection, Compassion and Community, plus the Challenge to grow beyond who we have become.

Sessions 8-10: Opportunity to share, serve and celebrate with all the tools and insight gained.

The opportunity is tremendous, the reward is priceless...and the cost: just the time and interest it takes to sit together in a common activity.

Let's get the maximum richness and insight out of the self-help, personal/spiritual development books we read!  When we slow down, pause for contemplation and discussion, understand the metaphor, see the bigger (meta) picture by adding other member's viewpoints, questions or experience to the discussion, THEN we can integrate and apply that insight in our daily situations experienced between each session.  We build a solid foundation and a 'toolbag' of resourceful skills and approaches to life.  The information stays with us, we own it, we use it...and our life improves in amazing ways!

There are so many meta~books/movies (meta: beyond the physical/human perspective) available for our discussion and dissection. They are rich with resourceful ways of perceiving life and showing up as a postive-rather than a negative-influence, IF we will only integrate the ideas.

1st session: a "Meet & Greet" with an overview of how Meta-Groups are set-up/structured; sharing the vision for our topic's exploration. We'll establish the guidelines for being prepared for each session's discussion/sharing.

Sessions 2-7:  with the book divided into equal parts, each week will address the concepts identified, the assignment suggested, and our anecdotal tidbits that bring it alive!  We'll be able to witness our own deepening Connections, Compassion, sense of Community, and Challenge ourselves and each other to grow beyond our limited view of life.

Spiritual principles will also be introduced each week and used as a foundation for heightened awareness and as a supplement to the book's wisdom.

Sessions 8-10: Opportunity to share, serve and celebrate with all the tools, awareness and insight gained.

The opportunity is tremendous, the reward is priceless...and the cost: [price of the book], plus the time and interest it takes to see differently.

Do you love to sing along with your tunes around the house and in the car; like the idea of singing in front of others, but lack the nerve to try Karaoke in a club with strangers? You and almost everybody else!  So, let's gather a few of us together to experiment with songs, test/stretch our voices, find our stage presence, etc. on the Singing Machine--all with great empathy for each other and a desire for fun and light-heartedness! There are 50 songs currently available and we can personalize more CDGs (with graphics/words) at minimal cost.

First session: this is a "Meet & Greet" with an overview of how Meta-Groups are set-up; a review of the songs available, with a sample or two played to demonstrate the Singing Machine and understand how to follow the music.  You are encouraged to bring a list of (5) songs you'd like to learn and we'll make every effort to get those CDGs cut before the second session...ready to go for you!

Sessions 2-7: With our songs in our heart (if not yet on our lips), we'll begin our Practice and Play, taking turns, supporting each other with back-up vocals and lots of applause and appreciation!

Through this process we'll begin to develop Connection, Compassion and Community, plus the Challenge to grow beyond who we think we are in this life.  Spiritual principles will also be introduced each week and used as a foundation for heightened awareness about how to perceive life as joy-filled and ourselves as enjoying life without self-imposed standards.  We'll perfect our ability to engage without self-consciousness, but rather with ease, humor and musical abandon in life!

Sessions 8-10: Opportunity to share, serve and celebrate with all the tools and insight gained.

The opportunity is tremendous, the reward is priceless...and the cost: [maybe your own CDG?], but mostly just the time and desire to stretch yourself and have fun!
